Global Impact Solutions (GIS), an SBA certified women-owned small businesses (WOSB) company, is a Health Information Technology (HIT) provider delivering innovative solutions to meet our customers' most demanding needs.  Founded in 2012, GIS has experienced immediate growth with customers in Atlanta GA, (headquarters) and Washington DC.  Our success has been and will continue to be a direct result of providing high quality professional services at competitive rates.

We understand that the ability to advance human health on an economically viable and sustainable foundation is based on a good understanding of the interaction of science, policy, business and technology.  Our solutions provide the appropriate combination of experience in each of these disciplines to address the needs of our clients.  Our approach begins with understanding the needs and challenges of our clients then proposing a solution to address the challenge. Since each client's challenge is different, our solutions are customized to each situation.  We have experience in providing solutions for:
  • Health IT – Our experience includes supporting public health vaccine distribution system, selecting and implementing a commercial Electronic Medical Records and Billing software system, supporting disease and vaccine registries and providing support and maintenance of toxicology databases.
  • Technology Management – Technology projects provide greatest impact when managed well, whether the project is new or in the maintenance phase. We provide support in project management following the PMBOK and project execution using EPLC framework. Our experience includes establishing Program Management Offices to provide communication, governance and strategic planning to maximize the value of technology systems in supporting program objectives.
  • Budget Analysis and Procurement Support - "Accomplishing more with less" is the new normal for government funded programs as well as commercial programs. While the need for improved health outcomes has not changed, the funding for many programs is getting reduced. Creating a procurement and budget plan and tracking the status of funds each month helps our clients identify available funds and funds at risk of expiring. By identifying available funds early, our clients have time to reallocate funding to other programs based on a well planned analysis of the greatest health impact.
  • Business Process Re-engineering – Changes to organization structures, programs goals, software systems, and policies all require an evaluation of the most efficient and effective business processes to accomplish the program goals and objectives.  We document existing processes, changes in the business, and offer streamed-lined and repeatable processes, tested and documented in Stand Operating Procedures.  We also assist in training and change management to ensure the processes are sustainable. Projects we've led have resulted in eliminating paper processes, reducing workflow times by half, and increasing quality.
